I had so much fun shooting families this past few months and this family was a riot!! They had me giggling the whole time!! It was so much fun to attempt to capture this families unique dynamic which is always my goal!! Downtown Prosper was a fantastic place to shoot,  I adored all the weathered  wood and peeling paint!! I absolutely love the ones with the kids strangling each other in the background behind their sweetly posed parents!! PERFECT for this family!! And then we were blessed with a stunning sunset which was the perfect fiery complement to this family full of personality!

First Blog post in soooo long!! Ive been sooooo busy taking pics and with editing that this just fell by the wayside! What an incredibly fun season for me as this little endeavor took of in full swing for family picture season!  Honestly I was a little overwhelmed but in a totally good way!! I cant describe how exciting it is to see the Christmas cards come in the mail with images that I took on them!!! LOVE!! This is just one of the family's I had the privilege to shoot and they are just gorgeous!!! I so enjoyed meeting them and getting to know them just a bit while I shot this session!  The Canals at Los Colinas are an amazing backdrop and so fun to shoot. This was my second session to shoot there with the first being a bridal that I can't wait to share after the brides wedding!  For sure going to have to find reasons to go back there! I love the images that came out of this session! I"ll be posting more soon from all my sessions this month so enjoy and stay tuned!!!

Little Miss "L's" Family!!

Some of you might remember Little Miss "L"!  I've posted pics of her before and Oh!! how I just love her!  Well this time I got to add mom and dad into the pics!! LOVE!!! The center pic in the collage has now topped my list of all time favs!! LOVE IT!! Just look at her sweet face and how happy she is!! And I love mom and dad in the background!! What a great shoot!! I got soooo many good ones of this beautiful family!!!

What an incredible family of  lovely young ladies!! This shoot was so much fun and these girls are soooo photogenic!! They made my job sooo easy!! I just had to point and shoot and I had a fantastic shot this this bunch!! These girls are embarking on a brand new journey and what better way to commemorate it than to feel great by having some beautiful pictures to share!! I see great things in store for this family!! Just look at how gorgeous they are!!!

Seriously Folks!! This family looks like it just stepped off the pages of a GAP advertisement!! Simply beautiful!! But I don't know why I was surprised by that,  after all dad is the brother of a coworker with another equally stunning family! What a time this dad is going to have keeping the boys away from all four of these girls!! They are breathtaking,  each and every one!! He better invest in same firearms pronto!! Even the dog is a pretty girl,  and she smiled for me...just look!! This dad had me in stitches the whole shoot!! Such a fun family!! Loved them all and I loved how their pics turned out!! The location could not have been prettier! These are just a few...there are sooooo many good ones!!

Some days everything just falls into place, and this was certinally one of those days!! Great light, great location, my camera actually did exactly waht I asked it to or should I say what I expected of it:) AND I have this stunning family to shoot!! They came perfectly dressed and ready to smile! Little miss let her sassy self shine through and mister big guy ramped it up to stike a pose! Even mom and dad showed up ready to work the camera!! Oh how I love deliveries!! Such a wonderful miraculous event! Every time I get to witness one I am reminded that I am truly doing what I was meant to do!! And Its always an added bonus when I get to "capture" it for the family as well! Ive been known to grab a patients camera a time or two and snap away for them, but when I actually plan to take pictures at a delivery I can not contain my excitement!! For real, I LOVE "capturing" growing families! This sweet family was soooo fun!! I think one of my favorite moments was when big brother came in to see the new addition and he looked up at me and said "Hey it's Miss Emily, you taught me how to be a big brother!" He had gone through one of the sibling classes I taught! I LOVE it!! Take some time to look at the gallery to see this precious story, you wont be sorry!
