Grapevine Botanical Gardens Maternity Shoot

These beautiful kiddos are about to welcome another one home in just a few short days!! I was so excited to meet them for this shoot! This momma was a little hesitant to do a maternity shoot at all,  like the rest of us toward the end of her pregnancy feeling pretty enough to let someone document that moment in time does not come easily.  But I am so very glad she decided to brave the Texas heat today and come out for some beautiful shots of her children with her.  I know she will forever be glad she did! She looked stunning of course!!! Here is a sneak peek of what I'm seeing so far and I'm in LOVE!! What do you all think?? I can not wait to meet this precious little one and get some great shots of the new baby too!!

This sweet momma has learned early on that momma's will do anything and make many sacrifices for their sweet baby's!  She is stranded at home on bed rest to help make sure her sweet boy stays in as long as possible!! I stopped by to take some belly shots before it was too late and I loved meeting her sweet puppy and getting to know the daddy to be.  I kept her off her feet except to move from one seated location to the next and for one sweet profile shot...promise I did!! I love these sweet shots and CAN NOT wait to meet the new little man when he makes his arrival...at LEAST a few weeks from now!!! Simply Glowing!!!

Just look at this beautiful momma! She truly IS glowing!! At one point in the shoot I stopped and asked her if she had ever done any modeling because she knew just how to work the camera,   and she got into every position I asked of her even if it was a bit awkward in her expanding state:) I just loved this shoot!  It was so fun, so effortless on my part, and sweet big brother was soooo good!! you You could just tell he was so excited to be a big brother soon!! In fact he told me all about how excited he was a couple of days later in a Sibling class I was teaching at work! If little brother has even half the cuteness and charm of this little man he will be blessed indeed!! I can't wait to meet the new little guy who will soon be joining this family!  I sent him a memo with all the times of my work schedule and currently scheduled shoots so he would know just when it was most convenient for him to come!! I don't want to miss it!! We shall see if he read it!! Stay tuned....I cant wait to post pics of his arrival!!

Rocking the Bump!!!

If any one can "rock a bump" it is this girl!! She is so crazy fun that it has been so hard to watch her feel so bad with this pregnancy.  I met her when she was pregnant with her youngest boy and let me tell you,  totally different pregnancy this time around!! Yet even through all the yuckiness that pregnancy can bring she has always looked beautiful and I was so excited to get to "capture" that glow! We did this session in two parts because getting her and her husband and the kids all home at the same time is a near impossible feat so we started with her and the kids in some lovely outside shots,  scenery courtesy of Adriatica,  and then I went back for more the next week at her house.  Some of these shots I just love!!! They are so her and her kids,  maybe not the perfectly posed shots that so many want hanging on the wall,  I got those too...but the ones I love and decided to share catch the moments that really define her crazy, fun life!! LOVE IT!! I can not wait to meet the new little addition,  I'll be there with my camera firing and I'm so excited!! See you soon,  as in tomorrow....fingers crossed.... sweet little girl!!!!
